Conway Public Schools took a prominent role at the State's Safe Schools Conference held in Little Rock, underscoring the district's commitment to exemplary school safety practices.

Mr. Eric King, Director of Safety and Security for Conway Public Schools, captivated an audience of school-based law enforcement and administrators with his presentation on the critical need to be "game ready" for safety-related activities and events. His insightful session offered practical strategies for effective communication, preparation, and response to potential safety issues, particularly in settings involving large crowds and major school events.

Mr. King’s expertise and proactive approach were evident as he shared valuable examples and strategies tailored for handling complex safety scenarios. His leadership is setting a high standard for safety operations across the state, reflecting his dedication and innovative approach to school safety.

Dr. Jeff Collum, Superintendent of Conway Public Schools, attended the session and expressed great pride in the district's representation. "We are very fortunate to have Mr. King in this role.
