Dr. Collum picture talking about audit

CONWAY, Ark. – Superintendent Dr. Jeff Collum is celebrating a perfect audit report for Conway Public Schools, reinforcing the district’s commitment to financial responsibility and transparency. The audit, presented at this week’s school board meeting by Mark Glover of HCJ CPA & Advisors PLLC, confirms that the district’s financial statements are accurate, compliant, and in excellent standing.

The audit, conducted in accordance with Government Auditing Standards, resulted in an unmodified opinion on the regulatory basis of accounting. This means that, in all material respects, the district’s financial statements fairly and accurately represent its financial position as of June 30, 2024, in compliance with Arkansas Code Ann. § 10-4-413(c).

"This audit is a reflection of our district’s ongoing dedication to responsible financial stewardship," said Dr. Collum. "We take our role as financial stewards of taxpayer dollars seriously, and this report confirms that Conway Public Schools continues to operate with integrity, accountability, and fiscal excellence." Dr. Collum would like to thank the Conway School Board for their oversight review and approval of the district budget and this excellence audit report as presented.

The report highlights the district’s strong financial health and commitment to transparency, demonstrating that CPSD is effectively managing its resources to support students, staff, and the community. By adhering to the state’s financial reporting provisions, Conway Public Schools ensures that taxpayer funds are used efficiently and responsibly to maintain high-quality educational programs and services.
